WLIVE Fabric 12-Drawer Dressers Recall Class Action Lawsuit
On October 16, 2025, WLIVE issued a recall for their fabric dressers. According to the recall (number 26-022), the recalled dressers are unstable if not anchored to the wall, which poses a serious tip-over and entrapment risk that can lead to injuries or death to children. Further, the dressers violate mandatory standards. The recall affects approximately 76,500 products.
The recall specifically involves the WLIVE 12-drawer dressers sold in a variety of colors, including charcoal black, charcoal black wood grain, black rustic brown, dark grey, light grey, rustic brown wood grain print, and white. They have a metal frame and wooden top and 12 collapsable fabric drawers. The recalled dressers measure approximately 39 inches by 12 inches by 48 inches and weigh about 35 pounds. The product packaging has “ASNG092” printed on it.
Affected consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled dressers if they are not anchored to a wall and place them in an area inaccessible to children. Consumers are also urged to contact the company for instructions on how to dispose of the dressers and receive a full refund. Consumers will be required to submit a photo to prove the disposal of the product.
The recalled dressers were sold at Amazon for about $83 each from September 2023 to August 2025.
So far, the company has received one report of the dresser tipping over, although no injuries have been reported.
If your child sustained injuries because of the recalled dresser tipping over, it is important that you understand that you could have the right to file a lawsuit and recover compensation. More specifically, you could have the right to file a product liability claim with the help of a recall lawyer.

Possible Injuries Caused by Dressers Tipping Over
As mentioned, if the dressers tip over, entrapment can occur. Young children are most at risk of suffering harm. Children are naturally curious and adventurous, and likely to try and climb dressers either to try to reach something on the top level (like a toy or a remote) or just because they may think it may be fun. An unanchored dresser can easily tip over with a child’s weight. The dresser can fall onto the child, trapping the child underneath. The main danger of entrapment is asphyxiation or suffocation, at it takes only a few minutes without oxygen to for the brain to sustain permanent damage. In addition, these incidents could also cause crushing injuries, broken bones, fractures, lacerations, and more. Of course, these incidents can potentially be fatal.
What Steps to Take
If your child was injured by the defective dressers involved in the recall, then it is important that you understand that you could have the right to file a claim. You may have questions about what steps to take to prepare to file a claim. Consider some of the following recommendations:
- Take photos of all visible injuries
- Take photos of the entire scene of the incident, before anything is moved or cleaned up
- Seek medical attention as soon as possible
- Gather all relevant medical records
- Contact the company to report the incident and the resulting harm (never agree to a refund, a replacement, to return the product, or to sign any document provided by the company)
- Gather all records related to the purchase of the product
- Gather any surveillance footage that may have captured the incident
- Seek the expertise of a lawyer as soon as possible
